Yolo County Fairgrounds
Participant Responsibilities
1. Decorations & Design
- Responsible for decorating assigned location.
- Provide all decorations, props, lighting, and extension cords.
- Secure decorations safely.
2. Electrical Use
- Fairgrounds will provide power.
- Participant supplies extension cords, power strips, and adaptors.
- All electrical items must be UL-approved for outdoor use.
3. Setup & Teardown
- Setup between November 23 -25 and November 30 - December 4, 2026.
- Displays remain in place for the event, Dec 5-13.
- Teardown/removal December 14th - 18th, 2026.
4. Safety & Compliance
- Must comply with fire, safety, and accessibility regulations.
- No open flames or hazardous materials.
- Fairgrounds may require modifications or removal if unsafe.
5. Liability
- Participant responsible for all decorations and property.
- Fairgrounds not responsible for loss, theft, or damage.
- Participant indemnifies Fairgrounds and staff from related claims.
Fairgrounds Responsibilities
- Provide assigned display space.
- Provide access to electrical power.
- Promote the event to the public.
